A classic for 26 years

In September 2000, we opened our first store in New York. The “Super Gauze” T-shirt, which became a sensation among locals, gave rise to our Chō Gauze fabric. A quarter of a century has passed since its creation.

For this new version, we chose Supima cotton, nicknamed “cotton cashmere” for its refined luster. We combined the freshness of a fabric that lets air circulate with the warmth of one that traps air within its fibers, adding irregular color variations reminiscent of hand-dyeing. A new expression of this iconic fabric is thus born.

With its collar, which protects the neck during field work, and its rolled edges that highlight the charm of the knit, this unisex Yamahiko sweater is full of character and easy to slip on for a relaxed look.
