Indian Merino Boiled Muffler

Wool washed, again and again

We blended Merino wool, soft and pleasant against the skin, with cashmere, then spun it to give it a lovely volume. Before fulling, the knit is surprisingly long. Working with Indian artisans, we washed it repeatedly and checked its condition, until it gradually reached the desired dimensions and thickness. It is a precious material that we have been crafting for many years, and we particularly love its slightly bumpy texture.

We chose a length sufficient to be worn double-wrapped. The fringes and the "R" embroidery are also done by hand.
